Playing cards and 3-year-olds don't mix

A couple weeks ago Monkey was whining about something and then noticed boxes of playing cards I had stacked on the game shelf. I needed to shut him up, so I gave him the cards. It didn't occur to me that he hadn't really played with cards before and didn't know what the deal was.

I swung by his room 10 or 15 minutes later and found 6 boxes of cards ripped open and cards scattered all over the room. Of course he ripped the boxes apart, that's what he does. I collected all the cards and sorted them into the correct piles. Didn't loose one card! What? Now what do I do with them -- buy new boxes, build new boxes, throw out all the cards because we don't have time to play with them anyway?

Guess what I decided. That's right.
